She learnt the influences of Indian Cooking directly from her grandmother and mother whilst growing up in South Africa. Her cooking styles coupled with her Vegetarianism have earned her the reputation of being a passionate Vegetarian Cook of her time!

Katyayani has managed and owned restaurants, worked in the not-for-profit domain and now also cater for special dietary requirements like vegetarians and vegans at private and corporate events in Ireland.
